The Washington Commanders announced a roster change ahead of their Week 12 game against an NFC East opponent, the Dallas Cowboys. They’re on a two-game losing streak after a humiliating Thursday Night Football defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

As the Commanders look for a postseason spot, they must demonstrate that they can overcome adversity and win big against the Cowboys.

Fortunately, all signs point to Washington being able to rebound against Dallas. The Cowboys are coming off a 34-10 Monday Night Football loss to the Houston Texans, and they look like a lousy football team.

Ahead of the Week 12 game, the Commanders acquired wide receiver Mike Strachan to their practice squad, adding depth to the position. The fourth-year, 6-foot-5 wide receiver has three years of experience and most recently played for the Carolina Panthers.

Strachan has made 23 appearances and started once. With 15 targets, the Charleston product has six catches for 130 yards, with his greatest reception of 45 yards. Prior to joining the Panthers, the 2021 seventh-round pick was with the Indianapolis Colts.

He will join the Commanders’ practice squad during the same week that they visit the Cowboys, who are 10.5-point favorites.
