Jamie Carragher blasts Sean Dyche’s treatment of six Everton players

The Friedkin Group is anticipated to fire both Dyche and Kevin Thelwell in the new year as they seek to stamp their own identity on the club.

However, Jamie Carragher has confessed that he has noticed something about Dyche’s time at Everton that he is concerned about off the pitch.

The 53-year-old has had a turbulent stint, with Dyche facing criticism from Everton fans this season after an unsatisfactory start.

But Carragher has questioned if Dyche’s additions have been good enough, with few of them having an impact on his starting XI.

“You know, the sporting director is Kevin Thelwell. You know what I think about Sean Dyche at Everton, from when he came in, any player he’s bought virtually they’re still not really in his first XI, maybe Ndiaye this season,” he said speaking on The Overlap.

“But if we go: Pickford was there before he come, the left back, Mykolenko was there. Branthwaite was there, Tarkowski was there, Dwight McNeil was there. Calvert-Lewin was there. Doucoure he was there. Gueye was there. Michael Keane was already there.
