Alabama Freshman Phenom Ryan Williams Announces NIL Deal That ‘Hits Different’

The Alabama Crimson Tide have one of the best athletes in the country, and he should be preparing for senior prom rather than helping the historic program keep their playoff dreams alive.

Ryan Williams, a true freshman receiver, is only 17 years old, as anyone who has watched a Crimson Tide game knows from the hundred times the broadcast mentions it each week. Despite his young, he has already established himself as a powerful force on college football fields, and some major corporations have taken note.

Following Alabama’s Week 10 win over Missouri, Williams announced his latest NIL deal with Uber Eats.

He originally posted the announcement via Instagram with the caption “@ubereats@wingstophits different after a win On to the next .”

Williams has 35 receptions for 702 yards and seven touchdowns this season, with an average of 20.1 yards per catch. His biggest performance came in Alabama’s Week 4 victory over Georgia, where he had six catches for 177 yards and a touchdown. According to On3, Williams has a net worth of $1.7 million and is ranked as the 16th best player in collegiate athletics in that area.

He and the No. 14 Crimson Tide are off this weekend but will return to action next week when they travel to Baton Rouge to face the No. 16 LSU Tigers in a contest that will most likely kill their playoff ambitions.
