Trinity College Dublin, part of the University of Dublin, provides a variety of scholarship possibilities for prospective and present international student interested in studying or conducting research at Ireland’s finest university. Since its establishment in 1592, Trinity has worked to assist low-income international students and recognize academic excellence. International students are always encouraged to look into external financing opportunities in their home countries.

The University of Dublin Scholarships provide different scholarships to outstanding students enrolled in full-time taught postgraduate degrees.

Several scholarships are offered in the following areas: Full-time taught postgraduate degrees (Applicants to the School of Business should apply for the School of Business Scholarship). The scholarship will be awarded based on performance in school as well as an evaluation of the applicants’ ability to contribute to the Trinity community as a whole.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants who have non-EU status and will pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate are eligible to apply.

• Trinity Offer Letter (Applicants must have receive a conditional or firm offer of a place in a Trinity postgraduate course).
• 200 word statement on “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community.” – submit in Microsoft word document or pdf format.
• CV/Resume

Benefits

• Scholarships worth from €2000 and €5000 each, applied as a reduction in tuition costs of a full-time postgraduate program for the first year of study only.

• Subject line: your name + Trinity application ID + Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship
• Scholarship Application Documents (please ensure all documents include your name and Trinity Application ID)
• You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of scholarship request.
• Your Regional Officer will inform you if you’ve been selected for a scholarship and will inform you for the process to formally accept the scholarship.
