University Of Calabria Scholarships | Fully Funded 2024
The University of Calabria Scholarship allows students from outside the European Union to study in Italy on a fully funded scholarship. The 2024 University of Calabria Scholarship covers tuition, board, and lodging, as well as a € 3.600.00 living stipend.
Details:
University of Calabria Scholarship offers 120 slots for two years’ Master’s Degrees courses to be undertaken at the university.
Every year, Unical grants more than 6,000 scholarships, consisting of an amount in money, accommodation and university canteen services, and tax exemption.
The slots for all scholarships will be assigned according to merit rankings established for each degree course, consistently with the criteria provided by each department and based on the slots reserved to international students.

- Physics
- Telecommunication Engineering: Smart Sensing, Computing and Networking
- Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science
- Finance and Insurance
- Nutritional Science
- Environmental and Territorial Safety Engineering on Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (curriculum)
- Robotics and Automation Engineering (curriculum).
Requirements:
To apply for the University of Calabria Scholarship, you must;
- Be a non-European student
- Submit application for provisional admission with the University of Calabria
- Hold a qualification obtained at a University abroad, valid to access International Master’s Degree Courses in Italy
- Students who will get their qualification during the academic year 2021/2022 can provisionally participate in the competition.
- Failure to obtain their qualifications will result in the applicants losing their right to enroll.
Benefits:
- The scholarship duration is 12 to 24 months
- The University of Calabria Scholarship benefits include tuition fees, winners will also benefit from free services, such as board and lodging, and a € 2,500.00 allowance.
- The scholarship will be renewed for the second year only if the winning candidates obtain the necessary requirements.
Required Documents:
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- First page of passport
- CV
- Copy of diploma (if you are applying to a Bachelor’s program)
- Copy of the Bachelor’s degree (if you are applying to a Master’s course – 2yrs.
- Transcript of all years of university study
- Syllabus of all your university courses
- Italian language certificate (optional)
- English language certificate (optional).

- Proceed to register on the Essie Portal
- Go to the top-right Menu -> Registrar’s Office -> Admission test
Select the chosen degree course - You MUST select the competition: “CALL FOR EXTRA-EU STUDENTS…………”
- Gather and submit all required documents as appropriate
- Submit your application and await the institution’s decision.
