The UGHE Nursing Scholarship provides a full scholarship to students who are passionate about global public health.

The UGHE Nursing Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity that covers tuition, accommodation, and meals for all students who meet the University of Global Health Equity’s admission requirements in Rwanda.

Requirements:

To be considered for the UGHE Nursing Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
• 5 – 7 years’ experience as a registered nurse (RN)
• Current employment as an RN
• Current non-restricted RN practice license
• Proficiency in English
• Academic documents from an accredited institution (Notarized copies)

Benefits:

The UGHE Nursing Scholarship will cover;

• 100% tuition fees,
• housing and meals,
• as well as transport to and from UGHE’s Butaro campus and any academic related costs like field trips

Required Documents:

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

• Letter of support for graduate study from the current employer
• Two professional referees
• Curriculum vitae (CV)
• Statement of purpose essay outlining interest in nursing leadership
• Personal interview with UGHE graduate faculty
• Proficiency in English
• Academic documents from an accredited institution (Notarized copies)
• Completed applications with NOTARIZED COPIES of academic documents

• Attach all the required documents in the appropriate sections
• Verify the correctness of all details before you submit your application
• After the review, select candidates are invited for an online entrance examination, and a subset of those candidates proceed to admissions interviews.
