The World Bank Group Youth Summit Pitch Competition 2024

The World Bank Group Youth Summit is the largest annual gathering of youth (18-35 years old) hosted by the WBG to engage participants from all over the world on the most pressing issues confronting their generation.

The World Bank Group Pitch Competition theme is Powering Progress: Youth Leading the Digital Transformation, and it focuses on how youth are using technology to solve development challenges.

The Pitch Competition will focus on impactful technology that addresses challenges faced by youth in FCV-affected areas, women in technology, and rural youth’s digital inclusion. The transition to a technology-enabled world emphasizes the need to reduce vulnerabilities and socioeconomic disparities in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the competition, you must:

• Be a young person within the age of 18-35 years old
• Must have innovative ideas to tackle development challenges​
