The Schwarzam scholarship is for a one-year, fully funded master’s degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The scholarship is intended to create a global community of future leaders who will represent the world’s diversity, energy, and promise.

The Schwarzman Scholars Program annually supports up to 200 Scholars from the United States, China, and throughout the world for a one-year master’s degree in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University, which is ranked first in Asia as an essential foundation for China’s political, business, and technological leadership.

Schwarzman Scholars Program brings together a diverse cohort of young leaders from all regions and sectors of the world who embrace each other’s differences while working on a joint mission.

Requirements:

Candidates applying for the Schwarzman Scholarship must meet the following criteria;

• Must have an undergraduate degree
• Must be 18-28 years of age
• Must be proficient in the English language
• In addition, they are expected to demonstrate extraordinary leadership skills, the ability to anticipate and act on trends and changes in their context, strong intellectual capacity, and exemplary character.

• Resume or CV (maximum 2 pages).
• 3 Letters of recommendation
• Essays- Leadership Essay (750 words) and a Statement of Purpose (500 words).

• A short video self-introduction of no more than 1 minute.
