Study In Netherlands: Radboud Scholarship Program 2023-2024
The Radboud University Scholarship Program is quite selective. It provides scholarships for a full English-taught Radboud University Master’s program for intelligent, motivated, non-EEA students with excellent academic records.
Radboud University Profiling Fund funds this scholarship. Therefore, the scholarship’s qualifications meet Profiling Fund regulations. Scholarship recipients who are accepted into two-year Master’s programs must pass all courses in the first year to qualify for the grant again in the second year.
This scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship or Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship. If eligible, you can apply for multiple scholarships, but only one will be awarded. Please note that you can only apply for one of the Radboud Scholarship Program or Radboud Encouragement Scholarship.
Both the Radboud and NL Scholarships are combinable. This article explains the NL Scholarship and how to apply.
Scholarship Requirements:
You will only be eligible to apply for a Radboud Scholarship if you:
- Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
- Are not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee for other reasons.
- Have (will obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes excluded, provided that they are part of the Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands).

Scholarship Duration and Reward
A Radboud Scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to €2.530,-. For example: a grant holder in 2024/2025 will pay a tuition fee of only €2.530,- instead of €17,000. The scholarship also covers costs for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands (Aon Student Insurance). The costs of living and studying in the Netherlands are not covered by the scholarship.
Required Documents
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Academic transcripts.
- Passport details.
- Detailed CV or resume.
- Letter of motivation.
- Two letters of reference.
Method of Application
You can apply by mentioning that you want to apply for a Radboud Scholarship during your application for admission to a Master’s program via the OSIRIS Application system. After that, you will be asked to upload three extra documents: two reference letters and a curriculum vitae. If you previously uploaded these papers for your Master’s programme application, you can do so again for your scholarship application.
The scholarship selection procedure and admission to the Master’s course are two different processes: entrance to the Master’s program does not imply scholarship selection.
Deadline: January 31, 2024
Best of luck!
