NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2024
Applications for the 2024 NNPC/Chevron Scholarship are now open to adequately eligible Nigerian students from all States of the Federation.
The NNPC/Chevron Scholarship is an annual N200,000 grant given by the oil and gas company to eligible Nigerian students attending all authorized universities in the country.
Details:
The NNPC/Chevron Scholarship is a cooperative effort between Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
The two organizing firms are awarding a number of University Scholarship Awards to appropriately eligible Nigerian students from all states in the Federation. The scholarship program is a key component of Chevron’s strategic social engagement in Nigerian education.
Requirements:
To qualify for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, you must:
- Be a full-time, SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree student studying any of the under-listed courses in Nigerian Universities
- Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.
The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture also offers scholarships specifically to blind/visually impaired SECOND-YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students studying any course in Nigerian Universities.
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems.
- Have a minimum of five O-level credits.
Duration and Reward:
Every year until graduation, all selected applicants are awarded the Chevron Scholarship, which is worth N200,000.

- Passport photograph not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
- School ID card
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- O’ Level Result
- JAMB Result
- Local Government Area Letter of Identification
- Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload
- Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload

How To Apply:
To apply for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2024, interested and qualified applicants should follow the processes listed below:
- Return to the Scholarship site and enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
- Enter your personal information, National Identification Number, educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents.
- Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order.
- Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.
- When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
Recheck application information to avoid errors. - You will receive a notification displayed on the screen and via email that you have successfully applied. To confirm Check “My application” under “My account” section on your profile account.
- Note: Multiple applications may attract a disqualification penalty from the Scholarship board
