MTN Yellopreneur Grant is a program designed to train young women in order to reduce women’s unemployment and advance women’s entrepreneurial development.

The MTN Yellopreneur Grant program will train 1000 Nigerian women in entrepreneurship while also providing them with startup grants and loans totaling N2 million.

MTN Yellopreneur Grant empowers young women by building capacity and providing access to capital through loans, grants, and advisory support services to ensure long-term business sustainability.

The MTN Nigeria Foundation launched the MTN Yellopreneur Grant in 2022, training 4,711 female entrepreneurs in the fundamentals of business management and development.

This training provided them with the opportunity to compete for up to N2 million in equipment loans/grants to help grow their businesses.

50 female entrepreneurs received equipment loans totaling over N94 million. When the loan is fully repaid, our Y’ellopreneurs will receive grants equal to 25% of the loan value.

• Be interested and passionate about entrepreneurship
• Be a Nigerian young woman
• Be ready to partake in the training and complete it

Benefits:

• The MTN Yellopreneur Grant will train young 1000 female entrepreneurs in several profitable fields
• The trained women are then provided with startup materials and capital worth up to N3m
• A follow-up business plan and advices are further given to these women for sustainability of their businesses
• The repayment plan of the loan is very flexible and 25% of this fund is given back to the enterprenuers
