MasterCard Scholarship At Arizona State University 2024

The MasterCard Scholarship at Arizona State University will grant graduate scholarships to young African professionals pursuing master’s degrees in various areas in the United States.

The completely financed scholarship includes tuition, housing, visa, flight, books, meals, and living expenses. The scholarship will also cover application fees and university processing, as well as the cost of English proficiency testing.

Details:

The MasterCard Scholarship at Arizona is a two-year, completely immersive on-campus Master’s program that trains EdTech professionals for Africa. While lessons are in session, Scholars can work part-time with the Baobab team to acquire practical experience implementing the Baobab Platform’s strategic objectives.

This scholarship program is part of EdPlus, ASU’s primary enterprise unit that focuses on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to improve student success and lower obstacles to achievement in higher education.

The Baobab Platform is the implementation of an online learning community that will eventually include over 70,000 aspiring young African leaders from throughout the world.

Requirements:

To be considered for the MasterCard Scholarship at Arizona, you must meet the following requirements.

• Apply for one of the eligible programs listed above.
• Applicants must qualify academically for admission to the degree of their choice that includes English proficiency.
• Applicants must be a citizen of an African country committed to ethical leadership and demonstrated engagement in their community.
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 33 on or before the application deadline.
• Applicants must demonstrate a track record of leadership and service in their community.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and ambitions that exceed one’s financial resources.
• Applicants must have earned an undergraduate degree with a required minimum 4 years of study, conferred by July 2024.
• Applicants must not have started or completed other graduate or masters degrees before August 2024.
• Applicants must be able to live in Phoenix, Arizona for the duration of the program.
• Applicants are recommended to have a solid foundation in mathematics, statistics and computer science.

Duration and Reward:

The scholarships will cover the following:

• Costs incurred for visa application processing
• Costs incurred for English language tests
• Costs incurred for GRE or other equivalent exams
• Airfare to and from Phoenix, Arizona
• Full tuition, books and fees
• Housing
• Participation in Scholarship programming

• MBA concentration must be in either Business Analytics or Marketing

How To Apply:

To apply for the MasterCard Scholarship at Arizona State University, interested and qualifying individuals should follow the requirements listed below.

• Apply for the scholarship first and, if successful, you will be assisted in the process of applying for admission to Arizona State University.
• Interviews via video or phone call will be held in summer 2024, with final decisions made by late May 2024. All successful applicants will travel to Phoenix, Arizona to join the Program in August 2024.
