CMU Africa Mastercard Scholarships For International Students

Published

on

The CMU-Africa Mastercard Scholarships were created to assist students whose potential and promise outweigh their financial resources.

Master of Science degrees in information technology, electrical and computer engineering, or engineering artificial intelligence are earned by graduate students. Scholars who complete the program go on to lead change in their communities and contribute to significant development throughout the continent.

CMU-Africa is part of a global network of 33 Scholars Program partners, all of which are universities dedicated to the development of Africa’s future leaders.

In 2016, CMU-Africa launched the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. For students whose talent and promise surpass their financial resources, the program provides extensive financial, social, and academic support.

The curriculum focuses on building transformative leaders and encourages students to be active participants in their communities, with the concept that education is a catalyst for social and economic change.
