The Chinese Scholarship Council is pleased to offer the China Link Scholarship Program to eligible international applicants, providing a valuable opportunity for young talent from around the world to pursue academic and research activities in China.

The China Link Scholarship is a fully funded award that includes tuition waivers, free on-campus housing, comprehensive medical insurance, and a CNY42,000 stipend.

Details:

To strengthen academic friendship and mutual understanding between the Chinese and foreign young generations, as well as to establish a platform for international exchanges and cooperation among young talents.

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) has established the China Link Scholarship Program for international students and faculty who wish to engage in academic and research activities in China.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the China Link Scholarship Program 2024, you must:

• Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, good moral character and academic excellence, be in good health, both mentally and physically.
• Be under 45 years of age when applying for general scholars.
• Be under 50 years of age when applying for senior scholars.
• Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China.
• Have received either the admission notice or the invitation letter issued by the Chinese host university.

Benefits:

CSC will provide a full scholarship to successful applicants during their stay in China, which includes tuition waiver, free on-campus housing, comprehensive medical insurance, and a monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars and CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).

How to Apply:

To apply for the China Link Scholarship Program, interested and qualified candidates should follow the procedures below;

• Applicants should contact the Chinese host university to obtain admission documents or invitations.
• Applicants should log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to complete CSC online application and upload supporting documents.
• Application will be processed by Chinese host universities.
• Deadlines for Chinese host universities to nominate scholarship candidates to CSC are April 15, 2024; July 15, 2024; October 15, 2024; and January 15, 2025, occurring four times for this call.
• Proposed dates for CSC to send scholarship admission results to Chinese host universities are May 15 2024; August 15 2024;
• November 15 2024; and February 15 2025, occurring four times for this call.
• Chinese host universities will notify the scholarship admission results to applicants.
