Internship Details

• Internships are available in various fields,, including economics, finance, human development, social sciences, agriculture, the environment, engineering, urban planning, natural resource management, private sector development, and others. The roles are based on business requirements and are mostly located in Washington, DC, with some opportunities available in World Bank country offices.
• Interns are paid on an hourly basis, and the manager may grant a travel stipend of up to USD 3,000 in certain circumstances. Accommodations are the interns’ responsibility.

Application Process

• All applications must be submitted online within the designated application time; email applications are not accepted. J1 visa holders must obtain a G4 visa abroad before beginning work or an unpaid internship with the World Bank.
• The application process contains a checklist to guarantee a seamless experience. Applicants must use the recommended browsers, register with a valid email address, and upload the required documents, which include a Curriculum Vitae (CV), Statement of Interest, and Proof of Enrollment in a graduate degree.
