1.) Data Analyst

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to support our data-driven decision-making processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming raw into actionable insights.
  • As a Data Analyst as Palmpay Limited, you will paly a key role in optimizing operations, enhancing customers experience, and driving strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and processing:

  • Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Cleanse and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.

Data Analysis:

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
  • Develop and implement statistical models to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Analyze financial data to support business-making.

Reporting and Visualizing:

  • Create and maintain dashboard and report to communicate key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present finding and recommendations.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain data quality standard and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years proven experience as Data Analyst in a Fintech or Financial Services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data tool such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with financial data and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environment.

2. Business Developer – Merchant Acquiring

Job Description

  • As a Business Developer specialising in PalmPay’s suite of products – Point of Sale (POS), Pay With Transfer (PWT), Merchant loans, Collaboration, and Online payment services – your core responsibility revolves around identifying, engaging, and fostering relationships with (key) merchants.
  • Your role is pivotal in showcasing and selling these PalmPay offerings to businesses, aligning their needs with the features and benefits of our diverse range of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Identify and target key merchants and market segments for POS, PWT, merchant loan, collaboration, and online payment solutions, leveraging various channels like online directories, industry gatherings, and referrals.
  • Merchant Engagement/Visitation: Initiate connections with potential clients, establish strong rapport, and schedule meetings or demonstrations to illustrate the advantages of adopting PalmPay’s multifaceted suite of services.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of the client’s business operations, payment procedures, and pain points to discern specific needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions accordingly.
  • Tailored Presentations: Showcase PalmPay’s suite of services in a compelling manner, highlighting features, functionalities, and potential returns on investment, specifically tailored to each merchant’s (Key, High and Small merchant) requirements.
  • Relationship Cultivation: Forge enduring relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, showcasing expertise, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to secure successful deals, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

3.) Key Account Associate – Merchant Acquiring

Job Description

  • We are looking to employ a passion-driven and detail-oriented Key Account Associate (Merchant Acquiring) to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales.
  • The Key Account Associate will be responsible for driving offline and online merchant-acquiring businesses (Chain Stores, restaurants, Supermarkets, FMCG, Pharmacy, Betting, etc), and developing strategies to increase sales revenue.
  • The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic merchants and will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote the organisation’s solution and achieve mutual satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Merchant Acquiring in all key sectors
  • Engaging with corporate organisations to introduce them to our products.
  • Train merchants on the benefits of all products.
  • Solve related issues reported by merchants.
  • Continuously build merchant networks.
  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND or its equivalent in Sales and Marketing or related fields.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience as a Merchant Acquisition Executive in Fintech, Agency Banking Firm, or Direct Sales Executive in a
  • Commercial Bank, FMCG.
  • Previous achievements in the public and private sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of POS business and agency banking and merchant scenarios.
  • Strong marketing skills.
  • Strong customer/client engagement skills.
  • Must possess good negotiation and analytical skills.
  • A strong record of success within key account management, ideally within the fintech industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
