Imperial College London DeepMind Scholarship 2024
The fully financed Imperial College London DeepMind Scholarship is open to any interested and qualified students wishing to study in the United Kingdom. DeepMind Scholarships are available to both domestic and international students, covering full tuition fees and providing a stipend of £25,320 to cover living, equipment, and travel expenses.
Details:
The DeepMind Scholarships aim to sponsor MSc and PhD degrees for students from underrepresented groups in computer science and AI. The scholarships are intended to encourage and support greater involvement, particularly among women and people of black and minority ethnic backgrounds.
Two DeepMind MSc scholarships are offered for October 2024 entrance to candidates who have a confirmed place in the MSc in Artificial Intelligence, MSc in Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), or MRes AI and Machine Learning programs.
Requirements:
To be considered for the DeepMind Scholarship, you must:
- Be a woman or
- Be from an underrepresented minority ethnic group
- Hold an offer for a postgraduate study in MSc in Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), or
- the MRes AI and Machine Learning.
- Apply for admission before May 17th, 2024
Benefits:
The scholarships cover:
- full payment of tuition fees,
- A stipend for living expenses of £21,420,
- An equipment grant of £1,700,
- A travel grant of £2,200 for attendance at conferences.
- In addition, the recipient of the overseas scholarships may qualify for a relocation allowance to help offset the costs of moving to the UK for their studies.
- DeepMind scholars also receive invaluable guidance from personal mentors within DeepMind, and attend educational and career events organised by DeepMind.
How to Apply:
- Submit an application for a postgraduate degree in MSc in Artificial Intelligence, the MSc in Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), or the MRes AI and Machine Learning.
- The deadline for receiving this offer is Friday 17th May, 2024. You must therefore have applied sufficiently far beforehand for the college and department to process your application.
- In the weeks following the 17th May, offer-holders for the three degrees will be contacted by the Department of
- Computing and invited to submit an application for the scholarship.
- After this invitation, you will then have two weeks in which to submit your application form for the DeepMind scholarship.
