The Research Training Program, RTP scholarship at the University of Sydney is funded by the Australian government and worth up to $143,881. It covers tuition and gives a stipend to excellent overseas research students.

The University of Sydney is accepting applications for the Australian Government RTP Postgraduate research grants for 2024. The RTP Scholarship at the University of Sydney is awarded in three stages each year.

Sydney University accepts domestic and international applications for 2024 Australian Government RTP Postgraduate research scholarships. The RTP Scholarship at University of Sydney provides annual block funding to many higher education institutions for domestic and international Research Doctorate and Research Masters students.

The RTP initiative supports domestic and international students doing Higher Degree Research at Australian universities through flexible financing. University of Sydney RTP Scholarship alumni are expected to have the skills to work in academia and other areas of the labor market and collaborate with industry and other research end-users.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the RTP Scholarship at University of Sydney, you must;

• Be a commencing or enrolled international postgraduate research student
• Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential
• Have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled in a master’s by research or PhD at the University of Sydney.

Note: Applicants who are undertaking their first PhD degree will be the first priority to be considered for Research Training Program Scholarships.

• The full costs of tuition
• And will also provide a living stipend of $40,109 per year

How To Apply:

To apply for the RTP Scholarship at University of Sydney, interested and qualified applicants should follow the procedures below;

• Proceed to apply for a Masters by Research or Doctoral program at the University of Sydney
• While applying, select the check box to be considered for the RTP scholarship when submitting your
• postgraduate research degree application. A separate application is not required.
• RTP stipend scholarships are awarded in November, February and June. Therefore, you must submit all
• required documentations for your admission application to be considered in the relevant award timelines.
