On Monday, Israel Briggs reported receiving an offer from the Alabama football team.

Israel Briggs is Visalia's top college football 2026 recruit

Briggs attends Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, California, and has received a four-star rating from various recruiting websites as a 2026 potential.

Alabama’s ongoing success over his lifetime makes an offer from the Tide more noteworthy for Briggs.

“This offer means the world to me because you know as a younger kid Alabama has always been one of those programs you just look up at,” Briggs told Touchdown Alabama.

The Alabama offense has shown it can be explosive this season. This has caught Briggs’ attention via highlights on SportsCenter.

“The Alabama offense is so electric,” Briggs said. “You have to stay on your toes. They just have so many weapons.”

As a tight end, Briggs is 6-foot-5 and weighs 205 pounds. He is agile, and his rapid burst allows him to create plays that are astounding for a player his size.

“I get in space, and I can do a lot, especially mismatch matchups with corners and backers,” said Briggs.
