Everton have had their fair share of injury troubles in recent years, and it appears that one of Sean Dyche’s key players has joined the list on international duty.

Jarrad Branthwaite has been one of the stars dealing with injuries and fitness to begin the season, appearing in only one game.

Everton appreciated having him back in the heart of their defence against Crystal Palace, and it miraculously turned out to be the Toffees’ sole Premier League victory this season.

Armando Broja, Nathan Patterson, and Vitalii Mykolenko have all been nursing injuries of their own, with the latter two set to return for the Ipswich Town game.

Following Iliman Ndiaye’s injury, it appears like another star may be added to the roster.

Iliman Ndiaye has been one of Everton’s star performances since signing in the summer.

Interestingly, Ndiaye has previously been compared to Steven Pienaar because of his ability to hold the ball close to himself and dribble past opponents.

During Senegal’s match against Malawi, he went down in the 65th minute to receive treatment and was eventually replaced, with the severity of his injury unknown.

Despite the setback, Ndiaye delivered an outstanding effort for his country.

The attacker had 43 touches, a 90% passing accuracy, one critical pass, an assist, two off-target shots, one blocked shot, three of his four dribbles completed, five duels won, eight possessions lost, one foul, and one tackle made.

Any probable layoff for Ndiaye would be catastrophic, as he has been Everton’s heartbeat in the last third, and Michael Keane has already acknowledged him as a top player.
