REPORT: Alabama delighted to welcome 4-star returning from injury as they looks to be available for their next game

According to the SEC’s new procedure, Alabama Football submitted its first availability report for Vanderbilt week on Wednesday evening.

Injury report released ahead of Alabama's showdown with Georgia - WVUA 23

The list only includes two players: wide receiver Kendrick Law and linebacker Justin Jefferson, who both suffered minor injuries during the Georgia game.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer had referred to Law as “day-to-day” during the SEC teleconference, and that status has been confirmed as Law is labelled as “questionable.” Jefferson, on the other hand, is classified as “probable.”

It’s good news for Alabama supporters since DeVonta Smith and Red Morgan, who were hurt in last week’s game, aren’t listed, nor are the three other players who were on last week’s report.

Linebackers Qua Russaw and Jeremiah Alexander, along with running back Richard Young, were previously marked as “probable” but were downgraded to “questionable” before last Saturday’s game. Their absence from this week’s report indicates they are likely ready to play in Nashville.

Vanderbilt also released its availability report, which is more extensive:

– OL Grayson Morgan – Out
– EDGE Boubacar Diakite – Questionable
– WR Joseph McVay – Questionable
– WR Loic Fouonji – Probable
– S Dontae Carter – Probable
– DL Khordae Sydnor – Probable

SEC rules require teams facing conference opponents to file official availability reports on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a final report due no later than 90 minutes before kickoff.
