Harbin Institute of Technology is calling on international students to apply for the HIT China Link Scholarship.

The HIT China Link Scholarship is a fully funded study opportunity for interested applicants to study in China. It covers the full costs of tuition and accommodation, also provides a stipend of ¥42,000/Yr.

Details:

The Chinese Government is offering HIT China Link Scholarship Program to deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between the Chinese and foreign young generations.

The Harbin Institute of Technology China Link Scholarship aims to build a platform for the international exchanges and cooperation of young talents.

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) has established the China Link Scholarship Program for international students and faculty members hoping to engage in academic and research activities in China.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the Harbin Institute of Technology China Link Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, have good moral character and academic excellence, and be in good health, both mentally and physically.
  • Be under 50 years of age when applying for senior scholars.
  • Be under 45 years of age when applying for general scholarships.
  • Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at the CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China.
  • Have received either a pre-admission letter or an invitation letter issued by HIT.

Benefits:

Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including;

  • tuition,
  • on-campus accommodation,
  • comprehensive medical insurance, and a
  • monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).

Required Documents:

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Application Form
  • Passport Homepage: Applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of his/her ordinary passport within validity.
  • Certificate of Highest Education: Please upload a school or employment letter from the current foreign university.
  • Transcripts of Highest Education
  • Study Plan: Personal Statement or Research Proposal in Chinese or English, at least 500 words.
  • Physical Examination Record for Foreigner
  • Non-criminal records report
  • Pre-admission Letter: a pre-admission document or invitation letter issued by HIT (optional)
  • Papers or Articles Published (optional)
  • Language Proficiency Certificate (optional)
  • Other Supporting Documents (optional)
