Arqus Talent Scholarship In Europe | Fully Funded 2024
The Arqus Talent Scholarship is a scholarship program meant to attract and retain postgraduate talent from throughout the world.
The Arqus Scholarship provides a subsistence stipend of 1,400.00€ per month to cover the student’s living expenses, medical insurance, and materials allowance. In addition, the Arqus Talent Scholarship will cover the student’s entrance university fees.

Details:
The Arqus Talent Scholarship is open to talented graduates and students who desire to study a Master’s or Doctoral Degree at one of the Arqus partner universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw), with a mandatory mobility to a second Arqus partner.
Priority will be given to refugees/asylum seekers, students with limited options, and those with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree not obtained at the Arqus university where they will pursue their Master’s or doctorate studies or where they are currently enrolled.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the Arqus Scholarship 2024, you must:
- Be selected or have applied for a Master’s or doctoral programme at one of the Arqus universities
- Have a minimum overall/average grade of B according to the ECTS grading system.
- Have a clear idea of how a mobility at a second Arqus university can be integrated into your study programme and elaborate it in your motivation statement.
- Have a clear idea of how to participate actively in Arqus activities and act as an Arqus Ambassador.
- Meet the admission requirements of the partner universities
- Applicants who already receive a state scholarship can also apply and will not be excluded
Benefits:
The scholarship is composed as follows:
- Subsistence allowance to cover the living costs, medical insurance and a materials allowance: 1,400.00€/month
- Coverage of tuition fees at the student’s entrance university for the duration of the scholarship
Special needs fund: 250€/month
The scholarship will be paid throughout the student’s studies with the following maximum duration but not beyond the end of the funding period of this scholarship scheme, which is 30.09.2026:
- Master students: according to the regular duration of the chosen Master’s programme (maximum 12, 18 or 24 months)
- Doctoral students: maximum 36 months.

- Motivation statement
- PhD research proposal (doctoral students only)
- BA/MA diploma/degree certificate
- Transcript of records/diploma supplement
- Letter of recommendation
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Passport
- Student with fewer opportunities (if applicable)
- Language Certificate (merit)

How to Apply:
- Apply for a Masters or PhD Program at any one of the partner universities
- Apply for the scholarship on the Arqus website
- Successful applicants will also be required to participate actively in Arqus activities and act as Arqus Ambassadors within their two Arqus universities.
- An online orientation session with information about the compulsory mobility and the Arqus Ambassadors programme will be organised for all successful applicants in September.
