UMMIS International Student Scholarship 2024

The UMMIS international Student Scholarship is a program of Universities Negeri Malang in Indonesia for overseas students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Beneficiaries of the UMMIS overseas Student Scholarship will receive a fully funded award that will cover the whole cost of tuition, housing, living expenses, research expenditures, and travel for overseas candidates.

The Universitas Negeri Malang International Student Scholarship (UM-ISS) is a prominent scholarship granted by UM to highly eligible international students from around the world to pursue a degree program at UM in Indonesia.

This scholarship consists of 4 schemes as follows :

• Scheme 1
• Scheme 2
• Asean Research
• BIPA Teachers

Each plan provides a distinct scholarship covering for highly qualified international applicants pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree at Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia.

The program allows scholars and students from all over the world to experience not only the dynamics of higher education in Indonesia, but also the essence of Indonesian cultural diversity.

UM-ISS also provides an exclusive opportunity to get knowledge about diverse cultures while studying in Malang city.

Requirements:

To be considered for the UMMIS International Student Scholarship, you must:

• Be newly applying to Universitas Negeri Malang
• Be an international student
• Maintain a record of good academic performance
• Apply as appropriate before the deadline

Depending on the degree pursued by the accepted applicants, beneficiaries will get coverage for:

It is awarded for a maximum of 5 years for undergraduate, 3 years for master’s, and 4 years for doctoral studies (including language programs), provided that the scholarship recipient maintains a record of good academic performance, obtains recommendations from two lecturers, conducts themselves in accordance with university codes, and so on.

• Publication (for Doctoral)

How to Apply:

To apply for the UMMIS International Student Scholarship 2024, interested and qualified applicants should follow the steps listed below.

• Proceed to the UM ISS website, create an account, and fill in all the data. Check your email and activate your account.
• In the ‘Registration Status’ page, choose “degree” in the registration type.
• Choose your desired scheme and degree,
• Add your details and complete the required information about your educational background.
• Upload all required documents.
• Click the ‘Submit’ button once you’ve completed the process.
